Good landscape design is a dance between human artistry and the world of nature. I believe that having beautiful and harmonious places to enjoy the outdoors in the convenience of one's own yard helps to promote balance and peace in our busy lives.

 As a life-long artist, I bring the love of beauty, composition, form and color to my design work. I paint with plants: the leaping, feathery beauty of a tall ornamental grass; the sturdy structure of a border hedge; the rollicking spill of blossoms that is a drift rose; the heavenward-pointing vertical of a fastigiate juniper; the pop of white and blue flowers against a shady backdrop; the placement of art and places to repose and dream.

 I believe that a landscape, like art, should excite all the senses and make a statement. I am happy to dedicate my passion for the world of plants to the creation of outdoor spaces for my clients.   Candace Kearney
